Well, here we are! It took us a while to come around to the world of blogging, but in the spirit of moving we decided to open up a blog to better keep in touch with everyone.
Fishers, Indiana will be our new home for (at least) the next 4 years while we are in college. Conveniently located 10 minutes from Indianapolis and another few minutes from Eric's sister and her sweet family, the city will provides us with a new experience/adventure and one cute nephew and two adorable nieces to visit whenever we are homesick. We leave on May 27th.
Needless to say, I am also excited about having our own little apartment and decorating it from top to bottom. Eric was looking forward to it too, I think, before I dragged him to 50 different stores and constantly asked for his opinion on towels, pots and pans, and (my personal favorite) color schemes. Poor guy. But as the date gets closer and closer, we're doing less shopping and more packing, and boxes are his thing. Eric has worked at UPS since he came home from his mission, so he is very comfortable with what he likes to call "playing tetris" with boxes.
Though we are looking forward to being on our own, we both dread the idea of saying goodbye to our wonderful families and friends. We hope that this blog will be a tool in helping us keep in touch with everyone.
